ARE YOGA MATS & PROPS PROVIDED

Peace By Peace provides everything you will need for your retreat. With that said, if you have a favorite mat or blanket feel free to bring it along.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK

You need only bring your personal clothing and toiletries. We do recommend you bring a rain jacket and boots just in case there is inclement weather.

ARE THERE LAUNDRY SERVICES

There is a self-serve laundry on the 3rd floor of the main building. Laundry detergent, fabric softener, bleach and dryer sheets are provided.

WILL I HAVE FREE TIME

Absolutely, 9:30 -4:30 every day is free of formal facilitated practices. In addition, there is free time after evening practice.

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ON THE RETREAT

Retreats are intimate gatherIings of 10 - 16 people. This allows us to provide personal attention to all our guests. it also helps us maintain a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere. Please note, we do have quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

IS ALCHOL INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE

We do not serve alcohol. However, guests are welcome to bring their own. Wine & spirits can also be purchased on the island. We do request that our guests are respectful of other retreatants and exercise sound judgement when consuming alcohol.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED

Smoking is not permitted in the facilities. If you choose to smoke, we ask that you do so on the docks.

I AM TRAVELING ON MY OWN, CAN I RESERVE A ROOM TO MYSELF

We typically pair singles with a roommate(s) in the “Sea Turtle”, or the “Surf Shack”. However, when we have availability, we are happy to place a single person in any of our rooms. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please contact our concierge and we will work with you to find an accommodation to meet your needs.

I AM FLYING IN AND TAKING THE SHUTTLE, SHOULD THE NEED ARISE, IS THERE A WAY FOR ME TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY

We do have communal golf charts that can be signed out or you can rent your own. The island also has shuttle service. In case of an emergency, we do have private transportation available.

IS THERE CELL SERVICE

Yes, however we strongly encourage a technology free retreat. If you must use your cell phone, we ask that you do so in the privacy of your room.
