We appreciate the beauty of our remote island. It is an ideal location for peace, relaxation and contemplation. We hope your journey here is also peaceful. We offer the following travel options for your consideration:
Norfolk International Airport
(ORF)
We have a shuttle departing ORF at 12:30 pm on opening day. The shuttle will make 1 stop for refreshments before arriving at your final destination. On closing day we have a return shuttle arriving at ORF at 12:30pm. Please plan your flights accordingly.
If you fly into Coastal Carolina, we will arrange for a shuttle service to pick you up and drive you to the Cedar Island Ferry. The Ferry will take you to Ocracoke Island. Once in Ocracoke, we will pick you up by boat and deliver you right to our docks. Please note, flights need to be carefully planned, allowing for travel time and coordinated with the Ferry Schedule.
Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN)
We may be remote but we do have a local oceanside airstrip. If you wish to fly in on a small private plane, just let us know what time you will be landing and we will be there to pick you up.
Billy Mitchell Airport (KHSE)
We like to limit the traffic on the island so we encourage you to choose one of the above options. However, if for any reason you wish to drive, we will be happy to accommodate your request.
